The Campus Media Services staff can assist you in determining your media needs, preparing scripts and supervising distribution of your productions. Costs vary depending on the nature of the product. Most student projects for class presentation are free. All service requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Larger productions require production proposals.

Distance Learning Room (1211 ML)

The Distance Learning room is available for two-way conferencing, satellite conferences (downlink only), and recording of classes for distance education utilizing Camtasia software. Room capacity is 24 student/participants.

Media Editing Suite (1223C ML)

A dedicated media editing room equipped with an iMac with Final Cut Pro 7, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office software. The suite is also equipped with a digital tape recorder for capturing miniDV recordings and a green screen for creating virtual backgrounds. The room can be booked through CMS and Library staff and checked out at the circulation desk. Streaming Video Service

Hosted Streaming:

Preparation and conversion of multimedia source material, subject to copyright and fair use laws, for distribution through online course support services such as CTools.

Live Streaming:

Live internet streaming of campus events on an as-available basis. Necessary lead time can vary from 24 hours to 2 weeks depending on the nature of the event.

Video Production Booth (1219 ML)

Available for individualized recording of material utilizing Camtasia recording software and professional video and audio equipment with available teleprompter.
