Scope and Contents: The Archival Records Committee record group is divided into three series: CORRESPONDENCE, TOPICAL FILES, and ORAL HISTORIES.
The CORRESPONDENCE series contains two folders dated 1978 and 1985.
The TOPICAL FILES series includes minutes from 1978 through 1979 of the Archival Records Committee. There is an inventory of the archives dated 1985 and a report on privacy issues from 1978.
The ORAL HISTORIES series includes various release forms, logs, etc. The audio tapes and transcripts of the oral history interviews will be found in this series. There are both master and duplicate tapes. These cassettes, most of which were created in 1978, 1979, and 1984, contain interviews conducted by Herschel Wallace, former registrar and director of student services at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, with individuals who were instrumental in the founding of the Dearborn campus and long-time faculty members.
