The Extension Service record group is divided into two series:  TOPICAL CORRESPONDENCE and PUBLICATIONS.

The TOPICAL CORRESPONDENCE series includes material discussing the extension and correspondence courses offered through the University of Michigan-Dearborn.  These records date from 1962 through 1964.

The PUBLICATIONS series contains brochures dating from 1959 through 1969 and 1978.  This incomplete run of pamphlets describes the courses offered through the Extension Service along with information about credit, registration, and fees.  There is also a single issue of the newsletter Monitor.
