Scope and Contents: The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is divided into three series: CORRESPONDENCE, PUBLICATIONS, and CAPITAL CAMPAIGN, 1992-1997.
The CORRESPONDENCE series includes one folder of outgoing correspondence dating from 1984 and 1985.
The PUBLICATIONS series contains directories of faculty research interests and experts as well as manuals and newsletters such as the 1983 Bulletin and the 1987 edition of the Dearborn Research Newsletter. There are also reports describing the research activities of the faculty during the 1980s. There are annual reports of the Office for 1994-95, 1997-98, 1998-99, and 1999-2000, as well as annual Reports of Giving, from Institutional Advancement, of which the office was once a part.
The series CAPITAL CAMPAIGN, 1992-1997, comprises information about the University of Michigan’s “Campaign for Michigan” fundraising drive, and UM-D’s contribution to that work. It includes Mission and History of UM-D (box 2), Statistical Profiles, and Case Statement (box 3), Information Binder,and fund accounting, (box 3A). Examples of Images from UM and other sources (boxes 4-5), Priorities, and Prospects (box 6), Campaign Operations, and Gift processing (box 7).
