Scope and Contents: The AUDIO FILES are divided into three series: EARLY AMERICAN MUSIC, FACULTY MEETINGS TAPES, and LECTURE TAPES.
The EARLY AMERICAN MUSIC series includes one phonograph record of dance music which was recorded for Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ford.
The FACULTY MEETINGS TAPES series contains a single tape of the February 29th, 1984 meeting of the Faculty Congress. This includes not only the master tape, but a duplicate tape as well.
The LECTURE TAPES series contains both cassette tapes and reel-to-reel tapes. There are lectures by Gerald Ford given on March 31st, 1978, in addition to some undated tapes. Marie Starks, Sister Mildred Barker, and George Beadle gave lectures which are represented in this series. There is also a Cohen-King lecture which was given on February 22nd, 1978.
