About the Archives

The Campus Archives are located in the Mardigian Library. The collection consists of records generated by the University in the course of daily operations, but does not include personnel or student records. The largest collections are from the Chancellor's office and University Relations.

The Archives is as yet a small collection with limited hours, so researchers and donors are asked to call ahead for the best results. While some records are restricted, most of the material is available for research once added to the collection. Please contact:

  • Karen Morgan is the Campus Archivist. She is available to assist researchers with questions about the University, and to help units decide what material to transfer to the Archives. or 313-593-5618. Office: 1214 Mardigian Library.
  • Diane Leach, Library Administration, or 313-593-5236.
