The Mardigian Library provides convenient services to keep you warm during the cold winter weather: What’s new?
- Central Search now allows you to target specific topics by automatically grouping search results into subject clusters. Central Search, a simple research tool for undergraduate or beginning research, provides one stop searching for multiple databases. You can customize Central Search to search databases in particular subject areas. More experienced searchers may prefer the subject-specific approach, or may want to search databases individually.

Nearly 3,000 faculty from across the U.S. and Canada currently review for CHOICE, providing a valuable service to the academic and scholarly community. Reviewers are not paid; however, they do keep the books they review.
Reviewers are needed in a number of areas: - Product design

Any bookmarks or links using the old mardigian.umd.umich.edu
URL should be updated to use library.umd.umich.edu. mardigian.umd.umich.edu will cease to function on February 25, 2007.
This should not affect most library bookmarks as mardigian.umd.umich.edu was only used for a portion of the library website.
A special note to faculty who may have old links to articles or journals on course web sites: article links created before August 2005 might include the mardigian URL. If you have links that begin with:
http://mardigian.umd.umich.edu/fwd.php?
you can replace that with:
http://library.umd.umich.edu/research/fwd.php?
the remainder of the URL should not change.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
