Next R.E.A.D. (Read, Eat, Discuss) Meeting

Are you rushed, frustrated, or just need help? Does that term paper have you feeling stressed out? Student learning is the Mardigian Library's first priority! The library is open seven days a week, until 11:45 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and our website resources are available anytime, anywhere.
What's new?
- Study in comfort on the second floor with new lounge furniture, bean bag chairs, and a television tuned to CNN.
- The library will be open 24 hours a day during December finals, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wed., Dec. 12th and ending on Wed., Dec. 19th at 7:30 p.m. You can view library hours online
- ILL and MeLCat fines -- Effective July 1, 2007, overdue ILL and MeLCat materials will be fined at $0.25 per day for the first 8 days; after 8 days, the fine increases to $5.00 per day. We rely on other libraries to share their materials. In order for us to continue receiving these resources, please return items on time.

What’s new?
- ILL and MeLCat fines – Effective July 1, 2007, Interlibrary Loan and MeLCat fines will be $0.25/day for the first 8 days and $5.00/day for each day over 8 days. We rely on other libraries to share their materials. In order for us to continue receiving these resources, please return items on time.
- Proxy cards – A proxy card authorizes a student or staff member to use a faculty member’s library account to check out materials. For complete details and to download the application form please see http://library.umd.umich.edu/services/circ/assistant.html
