The Mardigian Library provides convenient services to keep you warm during the cold winter weather:
• Visit the faculty lounge, room 1208 ML, to sample the complimentary coffee. You can enjoy a quick cup while reading The Chronicle of Higher Education or while meeting with colleagues.
• Use the Mardigian Library’s resources anywhere, anytime in the comfort of your office or home, or while traveling:

What’s new?
• In late February, the library will conduct a survey of faculty use and awareness of the library and its services. More details will be sent out at that time. We appreciate your participation as it will help us to understand your needs and improve our services.
• Starting January 2, 2008, the library will have a new procedure for printing. Students, faculty, and staff using a valid UM-Dearborn username and password will be able to login to the computers and print as usual. All others will be able to login as "guest" and will be charged 10¢ per sheet when picking up their print jobs at the Circulation Desk. For background information about this change, see the
October 2007 Director’s Update.
• The library has created some
multimedia tutorials to help you use our resources more effectively. We hope to post more tutorials and podcasts during the current semester.
ERes Update
• After nearly a decade of service to the campus, ERes, the library's electronic reserves system, will be decommissioned on May 31, 2008. We encourage faculty members who are still using ERes to move their course materials to:
o
CTools
o
VLT
o
BlackBoard WebCT (School of Management)
