ebrary Cyber Bullying Searchable Information Center is a collection of open access e-books about online bullying and safety. It also includes a growing selection of documents from authoritative sites including the Pew Internet & American Life Project, U.S. Department of Justice, and other agencies. Sample titles include: Bullying and Harrassment: A Legal Guide for Educators and Keep Your Kids Safe on the Internet.
Accessible Archives is a searchable database of historic newspapers and magazines. It has full-text search capability as well as the capability to browse publications by title and issue. Collections within the database include: The Virginia Gazette: 1736 – 1780; African American Newspapers: The 19th Century; and The Civil War, Part I: A Newspaper Perspective (November 1860 - April 1865).
Feminism in Cuba: Nineteenth through Twentieth Century Archival Documents contains materials related to feminists and the feminist movement in Cuba between Cuban independence and the end of the Batista regime. Materials are taken from the personal library of Dr. K. Lynn Stoner and cover the period from 1898-1958. In the decades following its independence from Spain in 1898, Cuba adopted the most progressive legislation for women in the western hemisphere. This collection includes primary sources such as texts, personal letters, journals, essays, radio broadcasts, and memoirs , as well as novels, poetry, and other literary works. Most documents are in Spanish.
Slavery, Abolition and Social Justice is designed as a resource for slavery and abolition studies. It includes documents and collections from numerous libraries and covers the time period 1490-2007. Thematic areas include slavery in the early Americas, slavery and agriculture, slave testimony, resistance and revolts, the Underground Railroad, abolition, the continued existence of slavery today, and many others. A wide variety of full-text and pdf documents are included, such as manuscripts, printed books, ships’ logs, registers, maps, newspapers, journals, etc.
The United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (UN Comtrade) is the largest depository of international trade data. It contains well over 1.7 billion data records and includes detailed imports and exports statistics of close to 200 countries or areas dating back to 1962. These data are reported in the United Nations Statistics Division standard format, and all commodity values are converted from national currency into US dollars.
Underground and Independent Comics, Comix, and Graphic Novels is a scholarly, primary source database focusing on adult comic books and graphic novels. It begins with the first underground comix from the 1960s and continues to the works of modern artists. 75,000 pages of comics, along with interviews, criticism, and journal articles that document the continual growth and evolution of this art form are included. Users can browse by series, title, people (such as cartoonist or writer), publisher, characters, genre, and subject. The database also has an advanced search function.
Oxford Islamic Studies Online promotes accurate and informed understanding of the Islamic world by providing access to current scholarship in the field. This fully integrated resource features reference content and commentary by renowned scholars in areas such as global Islamic history, concepts, people, practices, politics, and culture. Materials include learning resources for educators, primary source documents, timelines, Qur’anic studies resources, images, maps, and more.
Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management provides abstracts and citations of articles from thousands of scientific journals, conference proceedings, reports, monographs, books and government publications. Topics include all areas of pollution, ecology, environmental engineering, hazardous waste, energy resources, safety science, risk assessment, etc. Approximately 6000 new records are added monthly, and coverage extends back to 1967.
Social Work Abstracts includes citations to more than 35,000 articles from more than 900 social work and human services journals. Subjects covered include addictions, child and family welfare, civil rights, education, human services, mental health, therapeutic interventions, and many others.
Technology Research Database provides a single point of access to the combined records of the CSA Engineering Research Database, the CSA High Technology Research Database with Aerospace, and the CSA Materials Research Database with METADEX. Numerous subjects related to engineering and technology are covered, including aeronautics, metals, robotics, waste water engineering, space biology, telecommunications, electronics, earthquake engineering and many others. Abstracts and citations are provided for over 4,000 periodicals, conference proceedings, technical reports, trade journal/newsletter items, patents, books, and press releases.

Digital National Security Archive includes thousands of declassified government documents in collections such as U.S. policy in Afghanistan, the Berlin crisis, the Cuban missile crisis, Vietnam War policy, the Iran-Contra scandal, and many others. In addition, users can search within particular collections, and collections contain essays and photo archives. Chronologies and glossaries are also included.

Coverage includes both progressive and conservative viewpoints on topics such as national defense, affirmative action, religion, welfare, crime, the environment, and many others.
SME Technical Papers provides access to more than 17,000 papers and reports on best practices and industry trends in manufacturing. It includes diverse topics within the manufacturing sector such as the aerospace industry, lean manufacturing, robotics, simulation, alternative energy technologies, and many more.
Sage Reference Online includes more than 80 specialized encyclopedias in a wide range of subjects including anthropology, black studies, national security, school psychology, health, homelessness, and many more. Users can browse encyclopedias by title or perform advanced full-text searches.
Going Global provides information about job searches, work permits and visas, business etiquette, industry profiles, etc. for over 30 countries and more than 40 U.S. and Canadian cities. Also included are thousands of job and internship postings that are updated daily and an employer directory.
