Scopus is a large, multidisciplinary database that includes abstracts of articles related to medicine, the natural sciences, technology, the social sciences and humanities. It includes coverage of almost 18,000 different journals, trade publications and book series, and contains 38 million records. Quality scientific web sources and open source journals are also included.
The Sixties: Primary Documents and Personal Narratives 1960-1974 includes diaries, oral histories, government documents, memorabilia and more from this turbulent period in American history. Information is arranged by themes such as civil rights, law and government, mass media, and the women’s movement. The database can be searched by historical event, person, place, author, document type, and more. The database currently contains over 38,000 pages of material and will include approximately 150,000 pages upon completion.
Global Road Warrior is a comprehensive database of information about over 175 different countries. Topics include the culture, business practices, and economy of each country, along with travel information, security information, and health and medical information. Documents range from political, physical, and other types of maps to photographs, recipes, and electronic images of flags.

OxResearch provides articles covering world and regional economic and political developments. Contributions are made by experts at Oxford and other universities around the world, as well as respected think-tanks and institutes.
Books in Print is available again. This database provides listings for in-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming books, audio recordings, and video recordings. Reviews are included for select titles.
Periodicals Index Online provides indexing for over 18 million articles published in 5500 different periodicals going back as far as 1665. Every periodical is indexed from the first issue through the most recent, and 37 different subject areas in the humanities and social sciences and over 40 different languages are covered. Indexing for between 300 and 500 new journals (containing over a million articles) is added each year.
Film Index International indexes over 125,000 films from over 170 countries. A synopsis, director, cast and crew are provided for each film, along with a list of references discussing that particular film. Information on individual performers, film makers, and other persons involved in the industry are also included, along with a list of journal references. New content is added twice a year, and the database can be searched by keyword, title, year, director, cast and credits, character, country, synopsis, and awards.
Digital Sanborn Maps, 1867-1970 is a collection of 660,000 historical maps of approximately 12,000 American cities and towns. The maps are scaled at 50 feet per inch and show street blocks and building numbers in use at the time they were drawn. Comparing maps of the same city or town over time allows user to see the growth and development of a city or town and provides information useful for local history, genealogy, urban planning, sociology, environmental studies, etc.

Michigan Online Resources for Educators (MORE) is maintained by the Michigan Electronic Library and includes links to web resources for all topics related to education, including links to Michigan Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCEs), and educator job listings. Users can search by keyword or browse resources by subject.
Series 1: Arab-Israeli Relations, 1917-1970
This database provides primary source materials related to the history of Arab-Israeli relations from the Balfour Declaration in 1917 through the Black War of the early 1970s. Materials are drawn from the UK archives papers from the British Prime Minister’s Office, War Office, Treasury, and other British government offices. Introductory essays are also included.
Series 2: Iraq, 1914-1974
This database provides primary source materials related to the history of Iraq from the British occupation of Basra in 1914 to the rise of Saddam Hussein in the 1970s. Materials include original British government files from the UK archives, a group of introductory essays by leading scholars on Iraq, and multimedia clips from newsreels produced during the era. A timeline of important events and a collection of links to related web sites are also included.
E & E Publishing provides searchable access to a group of sites specializing in different aspects of the news related to the environment and energy. Climate Wire covers news related to the politics and business of climate change. E&E Daily reports on daily congressional action taken on issues related to the environment and energy, while Greenwire provides continuing coverage of policy issues. E&E News PM provides late-breaking news of congressional action and voting on environmental issues, and E&E TV provides video footage related to these issues. Land Letter focuses on issues related to mining, drilling and other processes affecting the land. Finally, E&E Reports provide coverage of news, information, and voting records compiled by topic on such issues as the U.S. climate debate, sustainable design, how the financial meltdown affects energy and the environment, and many others.
Cabell's Directories help researchers identify publications most likely to accept their manuscripts by providing information on journals published in the fields of education, educational technology, library science, psychology, psychiatry and related subjects. Information on the topic areas emphasized by each journal, the type of review process, acceptance rate, and number of internal and external reviewers are included. The Directories also include extensive information on manuscript guidelines for each journal and/or indicates the use of a standard set of publication guidelines (such as MLA or APA style) by a journal.

LexisNexis Congressional provides indexes to and abstracts of Congressional committee publications, including hearings, committee prints, reports, documents, and public laws. It includes the full text of reports and documents (1789-1969), hearings (1833-2003), Congressional Record (1985-), Statutes at Large (1789-), and Federal Register (1980-) as well as the current U.S. Code and Code of Federal Regulations.
BREPOLis is a single search interface for a number of databases in religious studies, medieval studies, and Latin. Works include: the International Directory of Medievalists, Europa Sacra, Papal Letters, Vetus Latina Database, the Archive of Celtic-Latin Literature, and the Database of Latin Dictionaries, among others. Databases can be searched individually or using the “Cross Database Searchtool.”
SimplyMap is a web-based mapping application that enables non-technical users to create professional quality thematic maps and reports using extensive demographic, business, and marketing data. Features include Points-of-Interest (POI) data and the ability to specify locations based on zip codes, cities, census tracts and block groups, counties and states. Users can also create and save up to 6 individual workspaces, and detailed tutorial videos are available for new users.
