    Join us as fantasy author Saladin Ahmed discusses his debut novel &lt;em&gt;Throne of the Crescent Moon&lt;/em&gt;.  &lt;em&gt;Throne&lt;/em&gt; is one of the year&#039;s most anticipated fantasy novels and is reminiscent of &lt;em&gt;The Arabian Nights&lt;/em&gt;.  Ahmed will bring his novel to life through discussion of its images of Arab folklore.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ahmed&#039;s short stories have been nominated for several writing awards and have been translated into five languages.  His previous writings have appeared in numerous literary magazines and anthologies.&lt;br /&gt;

    Learn how to uncover your family&#039;s history and search for missing branches in your family tree by attending the Genealogy 101 Workshop.  Joseph Marks, a founding member of the Polish Genealogical Society, will provide an overview of genealogical research.
