University of Michigan Ann Arbor and Flint

UM-Dearborn students, faculty and staff can use their MCard (UM photo ID card) to check out books from most UM-Ann Arbor libraries and the UM-Flint library. More details...

MeLCat Visiting Patron libraries

UM-Dearborn students may borrow materials from MeLCat Visiting Patron libraries using their MCard (University photo ID). 

• The list of participating libraries is updated several times a year; look for libraries that have a "Yes" in the "Participates in Visiting Patron Service?" column. 
• Local academic libraries that participate in MeLCat Visiting Patron include:
  • Henry Ford Community College
  • Eastern Michigan University
  • Michigan State University
  • Oakland University
  • Wayne State University

Reciprocal borrowing institutions

UM-Dearborn students can borrow materials from these libraries by showing proof of current registration, MCard (University photo ID), and picture ID. The lending library sets their own lending policies.

Infopass institutions

UM-Dearborn students, faculty, and staff need to have an Infopass to borrow materials from the following libraries. You need to request the Infopass at the Library Research Center or the Circulation Desk at the Mardigian Library. You must show the Infopass and a photo ID when you go to the other library. The lending library sets their own lending policies.
