How to use MeLCat:
- Search MeLCat directly.
- When you are searching our library
catalog, and you can't find an item or it is checked
out, click on the MeL Cat link:
- When you find an item you want, click on Get
this for me! ,
select UM-Dearborn from the list of institutions, and
enter your name and UMID number.

- View
participating libraries.
- You cannot use MeLCat to request items that are currently
available at our library.
- Each local library determines which of their materials
are available via MeLCat.
- Local libraries will process requests on a regular basis
MeLCat aims to get materials to patrons within 3-5 days
of the request.
- Materials are lent for 3 weeks with the option of 1
renewal of 3 weeks.
