The Mardigian Library / Stamelos Gallery building remains closed.
The library continues to provide many resources online as well as virtual research support. Librarians and Library Staff are available to answer questions from faculty, staff, and students during virtual library hours, either by chat, email, phone, or SMS.
- Course Reserves
While operating under the external pick-up service model, all course reserve items will check out for a minimum loan period of 24 hours and will be quarantined for four days upon return. This will result in very limited access to physical course reserve items. Please visit the Course Reserves page for complete details.
- Expanded Library Resources
A number of library vendors have temporarily expanded services to assist with students and faculty with virtual resources. A list of these services can be found here.
- External pick-up/return service begins September 1
Pick-up: All physical materials, including books, loanable tech, and DVDs will be available for checkout.
Schedule a pick-up of your items.
Returns: Please use the dropboxes near the rear of the building by the parking lot to return all your non-electronic library materials (MeLCat, ILL, Get This, Mardigian Library). Electronic items (calculators, chromebooks, cameras, etc.) need to be placed in the return box located at the library's main entrance between the hours of 11 am and 7 pm Sunday through Thursday. Schedule a return.
MeLCat will resume on September 8, except for alumni. See alumni services below.
- Reference appointments with librarians
Reference appointments with subject-specialist librarians will be handled remotely. To make an appointment only takes a few moments.
- Study space and computer labs
Study space and the computer labs will not be available on September 1 but will follow later.
- 3D Printng
Due to limited staffing in the library, our 3D printing service will be suspended until further notice.
- Alumni services
Due to the restrictions on visitors to campus, we regretfully must suspend our services to alumni. This includes check out of library-owned materials and access to MeLCat. Please remember, MeLCat is available at most public libraries.
