The Mardigian Library / Stamelos Gallery Center building is currently closed. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 1 with lobby only access for specific services (MeLCat, Interlibrary loan, reserves, student printing, checkouts, returns). Study space and the computer labs will not be available on September 1 but will follow later. Details regarding the reopening will be posted as they are available. Until we reopen, the Mardigian Library will continue to provide many library resources online as well as virtual research support. Librarians and Library Staff are available to answer questions from faculty, staff, and students during virtual library hours, either by chat, email, phone, or SMS. As the Engineering Librarian, I partner with faculty from both the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) and the mathematics department to support their collection, research, learning and teaching needs. I also provide data services, such as assisting faculty and students in using and depositing data into Deep Blue Data, as well as reviewing data management plans for grants.
I have a Master of Science in Information (MSI) degree from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with specializations in Library and Information Science and Human Computer Interaction. My past professional experience includes working for a corporate library (Ford Motor Company), working at a non-profit that supports Michigan libraries (MCLS) and providing user experience design for library vendors such as ProQuest and ExLibris.
The Mardigian Library has one LulzBot 3D printer and we offer a 3D printing service for current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Please visit our 3D Printing Service page for information on 3D printing, resources for students and faculty, and how to submit your 3D Print Requests.
