The Mardigian Library / Stamelos Gallery Center building is currently closed. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 1 with lobby only access for specific services (MeLCat, Interlibrary loan, reserves, student printing, checkouts, returns). Study space and the computer labs will not be available on September 1 but will follow later. Details regarding the reopening will be posted as they are available. Until we reopen, the Mardigian Library will continue to provide many library resources online as well as virtual research support. Librarians and Library Staff are available to answer questions from faculty, staff, and students during virtual library hours, either by chat, email, phone, or SMS. As a STEM Librarian, I work with the Natural Sciences Department to support their collection, research, learning, and teaching needs. I provide the same support for the graduate programs in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
I received a Master's degree from Wayne State University in Library and Information Science, and a B.S. in Biology with minors in German and Museum Techniques from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. In 2016, I received a graduate professional certificate in Instructional Design and I earned a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems in 2019.
Before joining UM-Dearborn, I was a toxicology researcher for the U.S. Army and a computer products specialist for a chemical company.
The Mardigian Library has one LulzBot 3D printer and we offer a 3D printing service for current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Please visit our 3D Printing Service page for information on 3D printing, resources for students and faculty, and how to submit your 3D Print Requests.
