Social Sciences Librarian

About Me

I am the Social Sciences Librarian. My essential duties include library instruction and research services face to face, by phone, and online for students and faculty.

I can work with faculty to tailor instruction to their course's specific needs whether it is a general overview of the library's resources to specific resources needed for a particular project. To enhance these efforts I can also work with faculty to create video tutorials and online subject guides specific for particular courses and projects.

I am also responsible for maintaining the library's collection in the social sciences area. I received my Master of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University's School of Library and Information Science in May of 1999. My research interests include but are not limited to information literacy instruction, flipped instruction, formative assessment, and library and information science education.
