The purpose of the Recreational Collection is to provide materials that foster enjoyment, lifelong learning, and relaxation to students, faculty, and staff. Located on the first floor of the library, the collection area includes books, DVDs, games, and periodicals, as well as space to sit, play games, and relax.

Currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff are eligible for a free digital subscription to the New York Times (NYT) (some limitations apply) and Wall Street Journal (WSJ).
