AUDIOVISUAL SERVICES

  • Log in to Illiad and use the book form to request audiovisual items not owned by UM-Dearborn or the UM-Ann Arbor Askwith Media Library.
  • Audiovisual formats, such as videos and DVDs, may be difficult to obtain through Interlibrary Loan.
  • We will attempt to obtain audiovisual materials owned by other libraries; however, many libraries choose not to lend these items.
Requesting items from the UM-Ann Arbor Askwith Media Library:
  • UM-Dearborn Faculty may:
    • Check out films/videos, in person, at the Askwith Media Library.
    • Request films/videos online for delivery via campus mail.
    • Return Ann Arbor owned films/videos at the Mardigian Library or in person at the Askwith Media library.  Please do not place in campus mail.
  • UM-Dearborn Students:
    • May check out films/videos, in person, at the Askwith Media Library.
    • Must return Ann Arbor owned films/videos, in person, at the Askwith Media Library.
  • Did you know?

    • Newspaper Subscriptions
    • Currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff are eligible for a free digital subscription to the New York Times (NYT) (some limitations apply) and Wall Street Journal (WSJ).

    • Access requires creation of accounts for each site. Full details and setup instructions are available on the New York Times and Wall Street Journal setup pages.
