Carla Brooks

English, African & African-American Studies, and Communications Librarian

About Me

I am the English, African & African-American Studies, and Communication Librarian. I partner with faculty to support their collection, research, learning, and teaching needs. I also teach skills in library research and information literacy for our students. I am part of the Library Research Center team.

I have a Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mercy College of Detroit (now University of Detroit-Mercy). My past library life includes experience in medical and public libraries.
