Starting August 2, 2021 appointments will no longer be needed to use study space. At this time, use of the library is limited to UM-Dearborn students, faculty, and staff. Please review the updated policies and procedures below.
Study Space Expectations:
- Per university policy, effective August 11, 2021 a mask must be worn at all times while indoors regardless of vaccination status.
- Study spaces are provided for individual study. Only one person is to be at a study table.
- All tables and chairs are to remain in their original location. Do not move furniture to other areas.
- Eating is not permitted. Drinks are allowed. Please note: Limited food service is available.
- Please respect those around you and use headphones to reduce noise.
- Other library services, including virtual research assistance, are available through the library website: https://library.umd.umich.edu>
Study Space will be available 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays.
Entrance procedure and requirements:
- Complete the ResponsiBLUE screening prior to coming to campus
- Proceed to the main entrance of the library
- Note: Effective August 11, 2021 a mask must be worn at all times while indoors regardless of vaccination status (view campus policy)
- The screener will verify your 'green check' on the ResponsiBLUE app
- Proceed to the 2nd floor. Reminder: All other floors (1st, 3rd, & 4th) remain closed for all purposes
