LIBRARIAN PARTNERSHIPS

Partnerships with the Library Faculty Librarians

To supplement or improve research skills, course work or classroom activities, librarians can:

  • Embed in classroom and online classes
  • Embed in Honors and Graduate programs as a Research Consultant
  • Partner with faculty on interdisciplinary educational innovation pilot projects

Through our Research Education program, librarians collaborate with faculty on course-related instruction that can include:

  • Effective use of Summon, our library resources discovery tool
  • Targeted resources from the library's 400+ research databases
  • Searching techniques to help students use these databases effectively
  • Evaluation techniques of information resources

Customized online subject guides are created by librarians to help students with specific courses or assignments.
