On the Chopping Block
So I opted for short hair. Brian and I went to a small hair styling place by Holiday Market and we both got haircuts. Even with the amount of hair that I've pulled out of my hairbrush in the last few days I was amazed at the amount of hair left on the floor. The woman cutting my hair was very sympathetic and avoided too much pulling or using the blow drier. The woman cutting Brian's hair insisted that according to some self-help guru, breast cancer can be cured with linseed oil.
Really, is that all it takes? Then what am I doing with this chemo nonsense?

Comments:
Linseed oil. Yeah... right. It comes from plants, you know. Just like turpentine and, apparently, some chemo drugs. Better not try it. I wonder if she thinks you eat it or drink it or what. Maybe you slather it on and make yourself shiny. Shiny - just as good as cured. Maybe if you salted or sugared yourself, like curing meat. Good time of year to have less hair, anyway, though. Easier to slather on the oil - I mean not as hot as a full head of hair.
Oh lord. I'm like bad luck or something. I WAS JUST ASKING YOU ABOUT YOUR HAIR ON THE PHONE THE OTHER DAY. ARGH. Good one Jay. :(
Btw, Happy 6-6-6! I hope the giant robotic demon squid brings you lots of candy. :D
