Borrowing from UM-Ann Arbor & UM-Flint

Using “Get This” to request items from UM-Ann Arbor and UM-Flint Libraries

  1. Find the item you need in the MLibrary catalog:
    https://search.lib.umich.edu/catalog?library=All+libraries
  2. Click on the title of the item you would like to borrow. Look for the “Get This” link, towards the bottom of the page and click there.
    1. If there is no “Get This” link, you can try one of the other resources listed here:
      https://guides.umd.umich.edu/interlibraryloan
  3. Scroll down to “How would you like to get this item?” and log in with your uniqname and Kerberos password
  4. Select “Pick it up at the library”
  5. Choose “UM-Dearborn Mardigian Library” as the Pickup location
  6. Click “Get me this item” to submit your request
  7. When your item has arrived, UM-Dearborn library staff will send you an email. Items are held for seven days before being sent back to UM-Ann Arbor.
