MCards & Passwords

Current UM-Dearborn students, faculty and staff are required to use their MCard (UM-Dearborn photo ID) to check out library items, reserve study rooms, or to check the status of requests, holds, fines, fees, and renewed items at the Library Info Desk. You can get or replace your MCard at the University Center Information Desk.

To access online resources, including your library account, you will need to log in with your uniqname and kerberos password (the same password used for your email). If you do not know your kerberos password, you can reset it yourself if you have previously provided account recovery information. If not, you can phone or chat with the ITS Service Center for help.
