RSS enabled for Janet's Blog
Not that you'll want to necessarily subscribe, as I don't really post all that often...
You will notice the
button in the right menu. I'm testing the feature so that I might understand better how to use this stuff at work. See http://holocaust.umd.umich.edu/news.html. I have set up a news page for the Voice/Vision site which employs RSS and looks relatively indistinguishable from the rest of the site.
I am hoping to set up other library blogs; whether I continue to use Blogger.com or not, who knows. I have used Feedburner.com to enhance the xml feed stuff (and keep stats), and have created a personal Bloglines.com account for tracking blogs and rss feeds. It's pretty neat, and kind of nice to be able to use a web-based system for tracking feeds, as I use several disparate computers and at least two separate platforms on a regular basis.
Gotta keep up with the young'uns, lest technology leave me behind. Ayep.
