Collection Scope

This collection development policy is a blanket policy which covers all the materials collected by the library. The library's holdings are divided into several collections with a specific purpose behind each. These collections may also have a more specific policy which describes additional guidelines specific to that collection. The collections held by the library include:

Juvenile books that have been identified as having historical value and are, generally, only allowed to be checked out by UM-Dearborn students, faculty, and staff.

The library may have items such as binoculars, calculators, chromebooks, digital cameras, GPS units, laboratory goggles, noise-canceling earmuffs, power cords, etc. that can be checked out.
